Traditional cleaning companies carry an office, multiple staff, vans on finance, accountants and marketing spend — all legitimate, all baked into your invoice. Cross the VAT threshold and 20% lands on top, which letting agencies, landlords and tenants can't claim back.

On Cleanifiq, marketing, admin, quoting, invoicing and chasing are automated and free for the provider. Our providers are individuals and small companies below the VAT threshold — ~40% of the direct cost drops away, and providers earn 2–3× more per job than they would as an employee.

Two paths. In high-density letting areas, we approach the providers with the strongest local reputation and bring them on — already vetted socially before they even apply. In lower-density areas, we onboard through reputation: new providers with no track record go through private-customer bookings first, so we can see the review pattern before opening them up to letting agency work.

Every Cleanifiq provider is required to hold valid public liability insurance, uploaded to their account and visible at the point of booking. Newly onboarded providers are additionally covered by Cleanifiq's own insurance on their first jobs while theirs is being verified.
Every job comes with time-stamped before-and-after photos stored in your dashboard. When a tenant challenges cleaning charges, you can use these photos plus our multi-provider price comparison as evidence to deposit protection schemes — proof the charge was fair market rate.
