What you can expect at the end
A clean interior, door glass, racks and trays. Old enamel can keep some staining after a thorough clean; your provider will tell you if a mark is staining rather than dirt.

- At the platform’s default times a single oven at “Scrubbing required” is about an hour, and an hour and a half with the hob. A range cooker in a bad state, with the hob and extractor, can take over two hours.
- Yes, if you tick it when you book the end of tenancy clean. Book the oven on its own only when the rest of the property doesn’t need cleaning.
- Make sure the oven is switched off and cool, the kitchen is accessible, and anything stored inside is taken out. Tell us when you book if it is a self-cleaning model.
- Yes. Choose “Double” or “Range” in the booking, so the extra cavities are in the price from the start.
- A few days ahead if you can. Fewer providers take oven-only jobs in Edinburgh than in Glasgow, so short-notice slots are scarcer, and same-day or next-day bookings can carry a provider-set surcharge.
- For fixed-price cleaning your provider brings professional equipment and cleaning products, a 3-step ladder and an extension pole. You can ask for regular, eco-friendly or pet-friendly products when you book.

- You choose at checkout: pay a deposit (20% of the job, or the provider’s minimum call-out fee if that’s higher) or pay in full. If you pay a deposit, the balance is due by 7:30am on the day of the job. Your money goes to Cleanifiq, not the provider, and is released to the provider only after they’ve completed the job on the platform. There is no customer fee: the price you see is the price you pay.
- Yes, you can cancel your booking, but cancellation fees may apply depending on timing. More than 2 weeks before: full refund with no deductions. Between 2 weeks and 2 days before: a payment processing fee of 1.69%–5% (depending on payment method) is retained and the rest is refunded. Less than 2 days before (or failing to pay by 7:30 AM on cleaning day): your deposit is retained as a slot reservation fee. After the provider starts: you owe the minimum callout fee or work completed, whichever is greater. Whenever money comes back to you, you can take it as Cleanifiq credit instead of a refund, sometimes with a bonus on top. This policy keeps things fair for both customers and Edinburgh providers.
